It has been exactly a week since I returned from Barcelona and I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my Barcelona impressions with you, along with the looks I wore.
I must say though, on a regular day out with my fellow bloggers I probably take more pictures than I did in four days now. But this was a trip with le boyfriend and I just really wanted to be there with him, so I also took it slow on Instagram for a couple of days. You know, l’amour toujours and everything ;).
“There’s a scientific study that shows that if you stand like this in superhero pose for just five minutes before a job interview, a big presentation or a really hard task, you will not only feel more confident, you will perfrom measurably better.”
– Amelia Shepherd, Grey’s Anatomy.
Well hell yes, I did it. I just quoted Grey’s Anatomy. Not because I like what she’s saying, but even more important is the fact that it’s actually true.
Last Saturday I spend the day in Ghent. A truly amazing city on all levels, shopping, dining, … you name it, Ghent has to offer it!
Velvet is everywhere.
All over Instagram, in every store and yup… also in my wardrobe!
It has been a busy few weeks, where life just seemed to get in the way of everything and the weather didn’t allow me to shoot outfits on the moments I was free. But here I am, with a new look, just for you!
A little while ago I attended the #moveryourlee event at LEE Antwerp.
In the company of Belmodo Tiany you could go through the collection and try on your favorites. For those interested, Tiany was also there to offer fashion advice.
As I am writing this blog I’m sitting on the couch, all snuggled up under a nice and warm blanket. I just finished a hot cup of Dolce Gusto Caramel Macchiato – about the only coffee I like – and feel caffeinated enough to enjoy the next couple of hours before going to bed.
Going through my posts I noticed all of the sudden that the text, nor the pics of this post published… *Say whut?*
So here I am, writing it all over again.
I must say I don’t quite recall what I wrote the first time, so this will be a whole new view on this look ;).
I love wearing hats, although I don’t wear them often enough.
And the reason is… the hair!
It’s just so easy to tie your hair up in a quick bun and carry on with your day. But a bun is not at all hat proof.
I want to be a unicorn!
Sometimes I feel envy for those growing up right now. Just entering their teens, the world at their feet.
