I couldn’t resist posting just one more summer look. Not for me of course, but for all of you, secretly booking those city trips to warmer regions! And I don’t blame you, enjoy the sunshine and enjoy the outfit inspo, perfect for long strolls in the city.
As I’m posting this, it’s Halloween. The time of year where people get all spooked up. In case you’re still looking for a last minute make-up look, check out my previous blogpost.
But now some more on my pink purchase. In all honesty it was a bit too cold when I was wearing and shooting this outfit. But that’s the thing I just don’t like about this time of year. One minute it can be sunny and nice and warm, and the next it’s cloudy, windy and you’re freezing. Time to bring out the layers, but that’s material for the upcoming posts 😉 !
For this look I worked with Zaful. A web store offering a very wide range of clothes and accessories for small prices. You could probably compare it to an online version of Primark.
I ordered a pink skirt and was obviously very curious about the quality. I was pleasantly surprised. The finish was nice and it fits! I also got a t-shirt but that’s not a good quality at all. Not even worth showing tbh. The set of rings are fun to wear but also here no real quality to be found.
The thing that actually made me fall for this skirt was the color. I think it’s just the prettiest shade of pink. Not too much, not too soft. Just very flattering for almost every skin type. It’s also a very soft, suede like fabric which I adore.
What I like a little less, it’s just a row of press together buttons. Not offering too much safety when it comes to keeping your private parts hidden should one of the buttons pop open. But that might just be me overthinking the whole thing ;).
What I actually really disliked about my shopping experience at Zaful were all the different sizes. For example, for three different skirts sizes could vary from a size 6 also being a XXXL to a size 8 being compared to a S. It was just so hard finding the right size and in the end all you could really do is guess.
So would I recommend shopping there? Perhaps, cause if you check out my Zaful wishlist they do offer some really nice pieces. But would you want to wait for items up to 3 weeks, leaving a huge ecological footprint without even being sure it’s the right size? Nah. Not really.
Have you shopped at Zaful already? What was your experience?
