Who doesn’t love the vacay feel AND being able to sleep in your own bed? I do! As I am posting this, We Can Dance festival took place little over a week ago, but while I’m writing this post, all the magic happened just a few days ago.
**Disclaimer: It has been little over two weeks but I was on vacation with no internet connection when I was planning to post. Sorry!
I attended WCD 2 years ago and already thought it was pretty cool. This year it was their 5th anniversary and I could absolutely see they’ve grown and made improvements. Although electronic music isn’t really my scene, the fashion concept of the festival def. is. They also care for the environment – with reusable cups and water saving toilets f.ex. – so there’s not much I don’t love about the concept. Oh and the food is just great!
Each year they come up with a different theme and for their 5th edition they went all out on desert dreams. Imagine: palm trees, henna tattoos, Arabian nights, yurts, lots of sunshine and feet in the sand.
The perfect recipe to enjoy a cocktail in the sun!
They set up all these cosy corners, I just wish I could take all of them home with me. I loved the easy breezy style and massive amount of pillows and baskets all around. Even more than desert dreams, this is the type of interior my ideal vacation on Ibiza would have.
You could visit different brands such as: Kimono, H&M, Zalando, Coca Cola, Mac Cosmetics and many more. All of them offered a fun activity so there was plenty to do for those who arrived at the festival early.
For the outfit however, I thought long about what I was going to wear. Sure, I wanted to go with the theme, but I didn’t want it to look like a costume party.
Therefor I chose items I really love and would absolutely wear individually, but not necessarily in this combination, on an ordinary day. But since the event took place at the beach one thing was for sure: I absolutely wanted flowy fabrics and..of course, beach waves ;).
Take a look below and let me know what you think!
Also, it might not be perfectly visible in the pics, but even my toes matched my outfit! With the Liquid Lemonade nail polish by Pro Nails I added some orange vavavoom, which lasts for days!
They’ll be launching a new collection soon, again with some awesome colors for the upcoming season. So make sure to keep an eye on them!
