So, a bit later than planned I got to upload my new post. I had a job interview today so some priorities had to be set ;). But here we go!
Last Christmas I was in full party mode. Carefully selecting my outfits, deciding what we were going to do on New Year’s eve etc.
But apparently my body wasn’t feeling the Jingle Bells, because I got sick… I got a fever the day before Christmas – even throwing up right after our Christmas Eve dinner, but that might be too much information – which lasted until right about after New Year. This wouldn’t be strange if it just happened once, but it was the second year in a row.
Anyway, long story short.. I bought outfits I loved but never really got to enjoy them. These items have since been hanging in my closet, eyeing me, begging me to be worn.
So that’s what I did! I mixed two outfits into one, creating an all grey but not at all boring look.
The skirt has a light shimmer – I’ve worn it in previous blogposts here and here – which I just love. It’s also very flowy making it a very girly item – but watch out on windy days! Ofcourse I paired them with my favorite sandals by Di Lauro which I got at Snoeys and a little shoulderbag by New Look.
I have two favorite bags and this is definitely one of them. Altough I would’ve liked it to be a bit bigger, it will do until I find a bigger one that sweeps me of my feet ;).
The floral emboidery and bell sleeves also add a nice touch to the top. The back is actually open creating an easy breezy boho look, with a touch of glamour.
Another thing I want to share with you is my hairstyle in this look. IT’S SUPER EASY!
Lately you often see the half updos, with hair in a bun or ponytail. I decided to tie a knot in it! Couldn’t be easier and I love the result. All you need is to tie a knot and two or three pins to set the knot, ét voila!
That was it already!
Tomorrow is Friday, only one more day before the weekend so have fun!
I have some outfit shoots planned with Eline on Sunday, can’t wait!
